Winter sport

we have been learning to participate in a range of winter sports and skills 

This year I enjoyed netball because it is a lot alike "b" ball. 

What I still need to work on is hockey because I'm very bad at it.

next year I'm going to try out for netball because I am quite confident at it .

Maths

WALT: a range of times tables strategies.
such as: we have been learning to learn the 8 times tables to learn the 4 times tables.
i need help with: my 7 times tables and my 8 times tables and my 9 times tables.

Passion project ( question )

We are  learning about questions.We then framed open and close questions based on my passion project My topic is volcanoes 

2 closed questions about volcanoes are... are they always in a cone shape and 

how hot is the laver?

2 open questions about volcanoes are... How does the laver come out of the volcano and how are volcanoes  asleep/dormant and what do they do when they are?

For my passion project I'm going to do a report on volcanoes

We worked together in a group to learn and perform a play for the class 

In the play I was a mane character her name was Katie . In the performance I think we co-operated really good and we tried to get Scott and Emma to be able to talk at the same time .

Aviation From the past to the present

Why did people want to fly ......

People wanted to fly because they wanted to be rich,famous or be the first person to fly.

They also wanted to travel quicker across water and land, but the people that actually 

achieved this were the wright brothers and Richard pears.

How did people try to fly in the past......

Flying in the past wasn't as nice and fun as it is now because it was very bumpy and you had to keep landing and stoping so you could keep flying.Here are some of the name's of some airplane's,hot air balloons and gliders.... 

1891 Langley's airod rone and1900 alider flyer  these aeroplane's were mostly made out of wood,fabric and they used to fly with no motor's,but the wind pushed them so they could fly.

How have planes changed from the past to the present......

We have engine's not propellor's and we use metal and instead of wood and more people can fly 

In one plane at a time.

Over all statement......

I like planes now because it is a lot more safer then what in the past.
